Designated magnetic field design for magnetic drug guidance in BNCT
In this paper, a local magnetic field was designed and simulated using a Helmholtz coil along with a ferromagnetic core with an appropriate geometric Structure to concentrate a magnetic flux. This field can be used for magnetic guiding of Boron-borne drugs in BNCT.
متن کاملCoronal Magnetic Field Measurements
A long-standing solar problem has been to measure the coronal magnetic field. We believe it determines the coronal structure and dynamics from the upper chromosphere out into the heliospheric environment. It is only recently that Zeeman splitting observations of infrared coronal emission lines have been successfully used to deduce the coronal magnetic flux density. Here we extend this technique...
متن کاملStatistical Measurements of Fast Changing Electromagnetic Fields
The present works aims at describing important statistical indexes such as the field uniformity, the field inhomogeneity and the statistics near the cavity walls for a special case of fast changing random electromagnetic fields. We generate this kind of electromagnetic environment by means of a vibrating intrinsic reverberation chamber. The use of several, fast, in-house, 3-axis field sensors a...
متن کاملThermodynamic Measurements in Pulsed Magnetic Fields
Pulsed magnets provide the highest available magnetic fields for research. Non-destructive pulsed magnets that discharge a capacitor through an inductive load are routinely used to reach fields above 60 Teslas, and ever-higher fields are being targeted by a handful of laboratories around the world. The Dresden High Magnetic Field Laboratory (HLD) is one such cutting edge research facility [1]. ...
متن کاملRadio Measurements of Coronal Magnetic Fields
The measurement of magnetic field strengths in the solar corona using radio observations is reviewed. This is a well established technique that exploits the fact that the electron gyrofrequency for typical coronal magnetic field strengths (100–2000 Gauss) lies in the radio frequency range. Opacity from the resulting gyroresonance emission from hot plasma above active regions allows the direct m...
